He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Wright and Goldie Sowards Wright; his wife Julia V. Wright; and his brothers, Gerald Wright and Roger Wright.

He is survived by: his great grandchild Connor David Wright; his children, Ronnie Wright (Jill) of Dorton, Roy Wright (Jessica) of Dorton and Robin Newsom (Steve) of Dorton; his siblings, Randy Wright of Dorton, Wendell Wright of Dorton and Janice Cable; and his grandchildren, Edgar Robinson, Charly N. Looney, Ronald Joe Wright, Dalton France and Damion Wright. He is also survived by great-grandchildren, family and friends.
