He was predeceased by: his wife Pat Hollins Napier; his parents, McKinley Napier and Ida Mae Osborne Napier; and his siblings, Rick Napier, Otis Napier, Loretta Napier, Lucille Holman, Charlene Pruitt and Viola Smith.
He is survived by: his siblings, Michael Napier of New Tazewell, TN, Darrell Phillips of Harlan, Donnie Phillips of Harlan, Vickie Farley of Indiana, River Ridge of Indiana, Bonnie Phillips of Indiana and Cathy Hall of Indiana; his niece Georgia; and his cousin Clayton Napier (Easter). He is also survived by nephews, other family and friends.
