We are sad to announce that on March 21, 2022, at the age of 89, Martha Ann Johnston of Dixon, Kentucky passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Vaughn and Ava Brown Vaughn; her daughter Suzanne Rosbourgh (Mike) of Jackson, TN; and her brother Jimmy Vaughn (Betty) of Dixon. She is survived by: her former husband Jimmy Joe Birdwell; her daughter Janie Smalley (Michael) of Paducah; her grandson Christopher Michael Smalley (Ashley) of Nashville; her stepdaughters, Jane Melrose (Jim) of Franklin, TN and Barbara Higgins (Chip) of Franklin, TN; and her nephews, Allan Vaughn (Cheryl) of Dixon and Dr. David Vaughn (Kathy) of Newburg, Indiana.. She is also survived by 6 step grandchildren and 8 great-grandchildren.
