Joyce Duncan Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Duncan of Dixon, Kentucky, who passed away on January 3, 2025, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse B. Moore and Vera Katherine Cavanaugh Moore; her husband Kenneth M. Duncan; and her siblings, Virginia Lambert Richey, Jessie Mae Duncan, Mary Agnes Sigler, Aubrey Moore and Sterling Ray Moore.
She is survived by: her sons, Randy Duncan (Kim) of Henderson, KY, Keith Duncan (Chiquita) of Henderson, KY and Greg Duncan (Tonia) of Dixon, KY; and her grandchildren, Cristy Duncan, Beth Sheets (Derrick), Cody Duncan (Karah), Chantz Duncan, Kaylee Willis (Ben) and Noah Duncan. She is also survived by 10 great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, January 8th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 9:00 AM at the Townsend Funeral Home (140 US-41 ALT, Dixon, KY 42409). A funeral service was held on Thursday, January 9th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions can be made to the New Cedar Grove General Baptist Church Building Fund c/o Shirlene Patmore 2521 St. Rt. 56 West Dixon, KY 42409.
