It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Jerry Rakestraw of Dixon, Kentucky, who passed away on September 11, 2022, at the age of 75, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his mother Helen Woods Rakestraw; his siblings, Joyce Collins, Christine Hill, Bobby Rakestraw and Donnie Rakestraw; and his siblings-in-law, Wayne Hale, Francis Collins and Brenda Rakestraw.
He is survived by: his siblings, Eugene Rakestraw (Betty Raymond) of York, PA, Merle Rakestraw of Madisonville, Dorothy Hale of Evansville, IN and Reva McConnell (Paul) of Madisonville; and his sister-in-law Donna Rakestraw. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
