She was predeceased by: her parents, Norwood Townsend and Mattie Bunch Townsend; her husband J. C. Thompson; and her sister Jean Barker. She is survived by: her daughters, Patricia Parker (Dale) of Hanson, KY and Jackie Dilback (Harold) of Providence, KY; and her brother James L. Townsend. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eleven great grandchildren; and six great great grandchildren.
