He was predeceased by: his parents, Oliver Rodgers and Blonnie Cunningham Rodgers; his daughter Melinda Guzik; and his siblings, Agnes Madden, Naomi Oglesby, Hazel Parker and Vernon Rodgers.
He is survived by: his wife Geneva Key Rodgers of Dixon, KY; his son Christopher G. Rodgers (Barbara) of Omaha, Nebraska; and his grandsons, Christopher Rodgers II (Renee), Sean Guzik (Amanda) and Joseph Rodgers (Anna). He is also survived by 12 loving great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Sunday, October 20th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM and on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Townsend Funeral Home (140 US-41 ALT, Dixon, KY 42409). A funeral service was held on Monday, October 21st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Lakeview Missionary Baptist Church (257 Lakeview Dr, Dixon, KY 42409).
