He was predeceased by: his parents, Oscar Maness and Bertha Thorne; and his brothers, Jim, Butch and Jerry Maness.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Tina Haley of Murray and John Maness of Symsonia; and his siblings, Betty Carroll, Bill Maness and Patty Mitchuson. He is also survived by three grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
