He was predeceased by: his parents, Obie Mitchuson and Ethel Cothran Mitchuson (Baker); his wife Patty Sue Mitchuson (Maness); and his siblings, Dorothy Cothran Baker, Lawrence Cothran, Juanita Cothran Jones, Margie Nell Mitchuson, Christine Mitchuson Geerdes and Rodger Mitchuson.
He is survived by: his children, Kevin Mitchuson (Amy) of Dexter and Lisa Lynn Hutson (Donnie) of Murray; his grandchildren, Danny Hutson (Marissa), Donnie Hutson and Samuel Mitchuson; his great grandchild Cody Hutson; and his siblings, Gary Mitchuson and Patricia Mitchuson Lane.
The family requests that memorial contributions be made in Obie's name to the Calloway County Animal Shelter, 81 Shelter Lane, Murray, KY 42071.
