He was predeceased by: his parents, Hafford Carrol and Helen Louise Carrol (Mathis); his daughter Patti Woods; and his siblings, Herman Carrol and Patsy Carrol Thorn.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Carrol (Deal); his daughter Kimberly Edwards of Dexter, KY; his stepchildren, Joannah Peck Rogers of Puryear, TN and Joseph Peck of Murray, KY; his grandchildren, Codi Woods Burnett, Colt Woods, Meagan Sheppard, Billie Ballard, Devin Edwards, Brandon Turner, Annalise Rogers, Garrett Rogers, Elaina Rogers and Braden Peck; and his great grandchildren, Gracie Ballard, Greylen Ballard, Bryar Burnett, Stryker Sheppard, Deliah Edwards, Alijah Wayne Edwards and Blake Lynne Burnett.
The family asks that memorial contributions be made to the Anna Mae Owen Residential Hospice House, The Foundation at MCCH, 803 Poplar St., Murray, KY 42071.
