With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Calvin Holbrook Jr. of Denton, Kentucky, who passed away on February 1, 2023 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by : his parents, Calvin F. Sr. Holbrook and Ester Burke Holbrook; his son William Holbrook; and his sisters, Elma Holbrook Perry, Alta Holbrook Rogers and Phyllis Holbrook Perry.

He is survived by : his wife Shirley Diamond Holbrook; his daughter Joyce Holbrook of Denton; his grandchildren, Amy Newland and Kevin Griffith; his great grandchildren, Kailey Lay and Alexis Griffith; and his daughter-in-law Sandra Holbrook of Union, KY. He is also survived by friends and extended family.
