As James Dale departs from our midst, his spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved James Dale. Though James Dale may no longer walk beside us, his legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Yocum and Elsie Kendrick Yocum; his son Ronnie Dale Yocum; and his sister Linda Faye Yocum. He is survived by: his daughter Gwenda (Gordon Trusty); and his siblings, Bobby Oris Yocum of Denniston, KY., Roger Paul of Denniston, KY., Cathy Yocum of Denniston, KY., Marietta of Denniston, KY. and Dennis Flannery of Denniston, KY..
Visitation was held on Wednesday, April 16th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 10:00 PM at the Menifee Home For Funerals (P. O. Box 98 847 Highway 36, Frenchburg, KY 40322). A funeral service was held on Thursday, April 17th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
