He was predeceased by: his parents, Joe Yocum and Hazel Marylin Yocum; his former wife Nora Smallwood Yocum; his wife Kay Cockerham Yocum; his siblings, Corn Yocum and Annalee Helton; and his stepson Jerimiah Cockerham.
He is survived by: his daughter Joan; his stepsons, Sam Cockerham and Chris Cockerham; his grandchild Latosha Cockerham; his sister Maxine Bowlin; and his caregivers, Sam and Amber Cockerham.
