He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Michael Kestel and Blanche Nicholas Kestel; his children, George Kestel (Faye), Margaret Gibson (Marvin) and Sandy Whitaker (Ethan Jr.); and his grandchildren, Jamie, Becky, Tabi, Nikki, Britt, Sam, Elizabeth and Virginia.

He is preceded in death by: Wife: Mary H. Kestel Parents: Michael & Blanche Nicholas Kestel Brother: Michael 'Mickey' Kestel Sister: Marie 'Dolly' Snyder Private Funeral services for George Kestel will be held at the Nelson Frazier Funeral Home chapel in Hindman, Ky for immediate family only due to the restrictions of Covid-19.
