With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Jackie Banks of Delphia, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on December 26, 2024 at the age of 72. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Hatfield and Virgie Gibson Hatfield; her stepson Marcellus Banks; her grandson Abraham Banks; and her brother James Hatfield.
She is survived by: her husband Ray Banks; her children, Reda Lewis (Rodney) of Delphia, KY, Donna Cornett (Gary) of Cornettsville, KY and Aster Lewis (Christy) of Cumberland, KY; her stepsons, Jim Banks (Melody) of Cumberland, KY and Tony Banks (Melissa) of Slemp, KY; and her close friends, Reba Halcomb, Phyllis Turner and Maybelline Adams.
Visitation was held on Monday, December 30th 2024 at 4:00 PM at the BIG Leatherwood Baptist Church (175 Little Leatherwood Creek Rd, Cornettsville, KY 41731). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, December 31st 2024 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
