He was predeceased by: his parent Hillard Short. He is survived by: his parent Margie Spangler Short of New Albany; his wife Eula Hall Short; his son Ricky Short of Deane; his siblings, Alex Short of Florida, Mary Eva Holesapple of West Virginia, Jeorlene Landrum of New Albany and Paula Davis of Depaul; and his grandchildren, Kody and Cameron.
