He is survived by: his wife Ernestine Johnson Meade; his daughter Kristina O'Neal (Joseph); and his siblings, William Meade, Daniel Meade, Noah Meade, Linda Fouts and Delma Sue Meade. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, ten great grandchildren.
