He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley Hughes and Martha Hall Hughes; and his brothers, Leslie Hughes and Stanley "Tater Bug" Hughes. He is survived by: his siblings, Keith Hughes (Kimberly Mullins) of Deane and Darlene (James).
