He was predeceased by: his parents, Grover Meade and Gladice Taylor Meade; and his brothers, Carlos Meade, Danny Meade, Bobby Rufus Meade, Grover "Fuzzy" Meade Jr., Oddie Meade (Imogene Meade), Edgar Fouts and Denver Meade.
He is survived by: his son Daniel Keith (Danyel Barnette Meade) of Virgie, KY; his grandchildren, Dalton Meade and Jasmine Meade; his siblings, William Henry Meade (Geraldine) of Deane, KY, Noah Meade of Vermilion, OH, Dema Sue Meade of Sheffield, OH and Linda Fouts of Virgie, KY; his sister-in-law Ernestine Meade of Deane, KY; and his close friend Gregory "Rabbit" Anderson. He is also survived by nieces and nephews as well as other family and friends.
