Astor was loved and cherished by many people including: parents, Astor Brown and Maurine Wright Brown; children, Elmer Brown (Melissa Mullins) of Jenkins, David Brown (Sonia) of Alabama and Rebecca Jent (Mark) of Deane; grandchildren, Eric, Jaede, Sidnie, Adeline and Mark II; and brother Lester Brown.

Burial will follow in the Family Cemetery at Deane, Kentucky., Donations Pledges.
