He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Gunning and Helen Gunning Bayer; his stepfather William Bayer; his wife Georgia; his daughter Lily Fowee (late Tom); and his siblings, Richard Gunning and Ramona Miller.
He is survived by: his daughters, Diane Huff (William) and Rhonda Carr (Michael); his grandchildren, Rachel Wiseman (Casey), Erich Huff (Erica), Patrick Carr (Moriah), Lindsay Carr, Kim Perera (Jules) and Tony Fowee; and his great grandchildren, Cameran, Annsley, Liam, Chase, Teagan, Piper, Paxton, Portia and Vincent.
