He was predeceased by: his parents, Thomas Whalen and Elsie Whalen; and his brothers, James Whalen and William Whalen. He is survived by: his wife Sally Whalen (Weitkamp); his children, Michelle Tucker and Michael Whalen; his siblings, Thomas Whalen (Billie) and Dorothy Huff (Dottie); his grandchildren, Michael Tucker, Morgan Tucker (Pat Wear), Michael Terry Whalen and Ethan Whalen; and his great grandchild Michael. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
