With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Claudella Simpson of Dayhoit, Kentucky, born in McRoberts, Kentucky, who passed away on November 23, 2020 at the age of 72. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Edley Brashear and Ella Mae Brown Brashear; her son Delmer Lee Simpson; her husband Delray Simpson; and her siblings, Burt, Elmer Brashear, Wanda Brashear and Doralyn Hurt.
She is survived by: her children, Chris Simpson (Michelle) of Baxter and Jackie Saylor (Charlie) of Coldiron; her grandchildren, Aaron Simpson, Taylor Simpson, Andrew Saylor and Haven Saylor; her sisters, Elaine Champagne (Carl) of Utah, Nancy Calhoun (Ron) of Jasper, TN and Julia Brashear of Versailles, KY; and her nephew Craig Simpson. She is also survived by nieces and nephews.
In Lieu of flowers the family would like memorials be sent to the Harlan Health & Rehabilitation Activity Fund, PO Box 895 Harlan, KY 40831 in memory of Claudella.
