He was predeceased by: his mother Lucille Williams Griffey; his daughter Charlene Griffey Harris; his brother Gene Garland; his mother-in-law Nannie Mae Williams; his siblings-in-law, Johnny Tolliver and Loretta Tolliver; and his grandson Cody Wayne Noe.
He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Tolliver Griffey; his children, Sherri Jennings (Billy), Loyall Griffey and Eric Griffey (Ruby); his siblings, Larry Griffey (Eva), Sandy Hensley (Dayhoit), Brenda Graham (Dayhoit) and Glenda Williams (Earl Wayne); his grandchildren, Derek Griffey, Steven Clem, Jr. (Jerri Lynn), Charles Clem (Angela Witt), Jimmy Locke (Vanna), Amber Joseph, Ethan Sargent, Breana Skroch (Johnathan), Wesley Jennings, Jeffery Jennings, Madison Griffey, Austin Griffey, Zack Griffey, Tiffany Perkins, Ericka Perkins and Amanda Griffey; his father-in-law Jimmy Williams (Rubbie); his son-in-law Ryan Harris; and his nephews, Kenneth Michael (Danielle), Wallins, Justin Williams and Dayhoit.
