He was predeceased by: his parents, Isaac H. Rhye and Martha L. Rhye; his daughter Tressa Rhye Browning; and his siblings, Bill Rhye, Henry Rhye, Ethel Rhye Baize, Hettie Rhye Kembel and Verda Rhye Cudworth.
He is survived by: his children, Lorna Rhye Howard (Shawn) of Clarksville, TN and Walter Rhye (Denise) of Dawson Springs, KY; his grandchildren, Kristen Browning, Katie Browning and Jackson Howard; and his former wife Daisy Rhye. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
