He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Laffoon and Effie Farar Laffoon; his former wife Mary Ann Laffoon; his wife Sarah Frances Laffoon; his son William Thorton Laffoon; and his siblings, Nadine Hicks and Owen Laffoon.
He is survived by: his son Johnny Laffoon (Cathy) of Madisonville, KY; his sister Joyce Martinez of Dawson Springs, KY; his grandsons, Jared Laffoon (Aimee), Brandon Laffoon (Brittany), Travis Laffoon and Colin Laffoon; and his great grandchildren, Riley Laffoon, Olivia Collins, Rowan Laffoon, River Laffoon, Kylie Laffoon and Lindy Laffoon.
