It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Thelma Louise Oakley of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on September 22, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Claude Tanner and Susan Ellsworth Tanner; her husband Frank Edward Oakley; and her children, Mark Edward Oakley, Michael Joseph Oakley, Frank Edward Oakley Jr. and Suzanna Hancock.
She is survived by: her daughter Stacey Turner (Terry) of Dixon. She is also survived by 10 grandchildren, several great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home - Providence Chapel (301 N Broadway St, Providence, KY 42450). A funeral service will be held on Friday, September 27th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
