He is survived by: his wife Vicky Cansler Newberry of Dawson Springs; and his siblings, JoAnn Johnson of Dawson Springs, Margaret Ladd of Dawson Springs, Andy Newberry of Dawson Springs, Bobby Joe Newberry of Dawson Springs, Charlie Newberry of Dawson Springs and Billy Newberry of Alabama. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
