She was predeceased by: her parents, William James Orten and Marjorie Victoria Trotter Orten; her husband Dextel Hoard; her children, Anna Ruth Hall, Robert Earl and Gary Kim; her granddaughter Lisa McBride; and her siblings, Velia Trotter, Mildred Ostein, Melvin, Forrest, Rudy, Richard, Carl Loman, Lawson and Johnny Orten.
She is survived by: her children, Dortha McBride (William) of Crofton, KY and Rev. David Hoard (Jacqueline) of Dawson Springs, KY; her grandchildren, Tracy, Shelby, Shelly, Anita, Darlene, William Douglas, Nathan, Emmaleigh and Stephen; her great grandchildren, Heather, Jacob, Jonathan, Hailey, Austin, Asher, Felix and Kayla; and her granddaughter Breanna. She is also survived by five great-great grandchildren.
