It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Robert Lee Shelton of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, born in Evansville, Indiana, who passed away on January 16, 2021, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Dillian Shelton and Elizabeth Byers Shelton; his daughter Yvonne Shelton Chappell; and his siblings, Dorothy Humphrey and Edward Shelton.
He is survived by: his wife Bettye Gilbreath Shelton of Dawson Springs, KY; his children, Mary Beth Coy of Dawson Springs, KY and Scott Shelton (JoAnn) of Frankfort, KY; his grandchildren, Mance Chappell (Mary Grace), Kyle Chappell (Jill), Brittany Coy (Bill Waford), Ben Coy (Savannah), Abby Coy (Austin Clark) and Adriana McKinney (Tyler); and his great grandchildren, Elly, Bert, Colby and William.
In an effort to deter the spread of covid-19 face masks and social distancing will be required.
