With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Rita Faye Stokes of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on January 21, 2025 at the age of 81. Though Rita Faye may no longer walk beside us, her memory will forever be enshrined in the fabric of the lives of those Rita Faye touched, a beacon of light guiding us through the darkness. In her absence, her spirit lives on — a gentle whisper in the breeze, a ray of sunlight on a cloudy day, a reminder that love knows no boundaries.
She is survived by: her husband Marvin Kenneth "Kenny" Stokes of Dawson Springs, KY; her daughter Pam Woods of Texas; her brother Roger Nash of Orange Beach, FL; her grandson Chaz Woods; her children, Marnita Stokes and Michel Stokes; and her sisters, Jody Nichols and Mary McGregor.
