It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mia Lynn Phebus Salter of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, born in Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 60, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her father John Thomas Phebus (Tom); her husband Herbert Salter (Jay); her grandparents, Gail, Mary Phebus of Mt. Carmel, IL, Luther and Georgeann Wright of Princeton, IN; her brothers, John Anthony Phebus (Tony) and Michael Lane Phebus; her nephew Alex Phebus; and her niece Katie Lynn Phebus.
She is survived by: her mother Peggy Wright Griffith (Nathan) of Winslow, IN; her brother Mark Phebus; her niece Ann Michele Johnson (Kyle); her nephews, Michael Phebus and Maxx Phebus (Hannah); her stepchildren, Shannon Lee, Christi DeVoe and Chad Ward; her brothers-in-law, John Salter and Peter Salter; and her close friend Charles Blackmon. She is also survived by three great-nieces.
