He was predeceased by: his parents, Albert Lisanby and Bertha Menser Lisanby; and his siblings, Nina Poole, Polly Mason, Cara Crator, Dean Kem, Elaine Thomas, Rufus Lisanby and Howard Lisanby.

He is survived by: his wife Frances Amos Lisanby of Dawson Springs, KY; and his sister Phyllis Stallons of Hopkinsville, KY. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
