As we bid farewell to this cherished soul, solace is taken in the memories held dear — the laughter shared, the wisdom imparted, the moments of quiet reflection in their presence. Though Lomelda may no longer walk among us, her spirit lives on in the echoes of her kindness, the warmth of her embrace, and the light of her enduring love.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Owen Franklin and Gladys Vincent Franklin; her husband Norman Dale Lynn; and her brothers, J. D. Franklin, Mangum Franklin, Maurice Franklin and Wendell Franklin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Starla Hendrix (Bill) of Central City, KY, Shala Cullen (Brad) of Madisonville and Sharen Lynn Baker of Louisville, KY; and her brother Malcolm Franklin (Gene Franklin) of Madisonville. She is also survived by six grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Barnett-Strother Funeral Home (2285 N Main St, Madisonville, KY 42431). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, February 18th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
