He was predeceased by: his former wife Betty Williams Chaney; and his brother Ernest Chaney. He is survived by: his children, Janellyn Bush of Versailles, KY and Brent Chaney (Alice) of Madisonville; his stepchildren, Donna Hendrix (Sean) of Florida and Charles Hamby (Anita) of Dawson Springs; and his sister Francis James (Sam) of Harrisburg, KY. He is also survived by 3 grandchildren; 6 step-grandchildren; and 2 step- great grandchildren.
