He was predeceased by: his parents, Norman Ray Townsend and Rowena McNeeley Townsend; his wife Tana Warren Townsend; and his siblings, Carole Ruth Grisham, Marsha Gail Hall, Kenneth Wayne Townsend and Terry Lane Townsend.
He is survived by: his daughter Ashlee Townsend Mawdsley; his sister Donna Beshear; and his grandson Jacob Mawdsley.
Visitation was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 11:00 AM to 12:45 PM at the Beshear Funeral Home (201 N Main St, Dawson Springs, KY 42408). A graveside service was held on Saturday, December 7th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Rosedale Cemetery Industrial Park.
