It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Glendon Douglas Darnell (Dawson Springs, Kentucky), who passed away on May 21, 2018, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his children, LaDonna Embry (Jimmy) of Clarksville, TN, Hollie Howton (David) of Dawson Springs, KY, Dwight Darnell of Madisonville, KY, David Darnell (Teresa) of Madisonville, KY, Dale Darnell (Susan) of Clay, KY and Barry Darnell (Myra) of Princeton, KY; his wife Sarah Jewell Wallace Darnell; his daughters, Brenda Joyce and Lana Joyce Darnell; his stepson O'Neal Burgess; his granddaughter Leslie Darnell Embry; his great grandchild Meghan Darnell; and his siblings, Dorothy Collins, Dean Sandefur, Wanda Russell, Herman Darnell, Bill Darnell, Melvin Darnell and John Darnell. He is also survived by grandchildren; twenty-one great-grandchildren and seven great-great grandchildren.
