It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gayle Norris Purdy of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, who passed away on April 8, 2023, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Carlie P. Purdy and Prycie Pearl Peyton Purdy; his wife Linda Cotton Purdy; and his children, Steven Purdy and Cathy Meier.
He is survived by: his daughters, Cindy Gayle Kingery (David) of Madisonville, KY and Carla Ann Patton (Alan) of Dawson Springs, KY; his son-in-law Joe Meier of Princeton, IN; and his grandchildren, Vicki Meier Stephens, Krista Kingery Levee, Karla Kingery Wathen, Karissa Purdy Russell, Kaila Purdy Weedman and Madison Purdy. He is also survived by eleven great grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
