He was predeceased by: his parents, Ernest Thurman Moore, Sr. and Grady Evelyn Poe Moore; his former wife Montrella Sue Moore; his siblings, Patsy Vaughn, Billy Moore, Elmer Moore and Richard Moore; and his great grandchild Acea Dewayne McKinney.
He is survived by: his wife Sharon Brooksher Moore of Dawson Springs, KY; his children, Sarah McKinney (Keith) of Dawson Springs, KY, Ashley Skaggs (Leif) of Bowling Green, KY, Jimmy Eaves (Evonne) of Dawson Springs and Cody Burden (Ashley) of Beaver Day, KY; and his brother Robert Moore (Joyce) of Dawson Springs, KY. He is also survived by fourteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
