He was predeceased by: his father Sam Riley; his former wife Mary Olene Bullock Riley; his daughter Sandra Kay Gilman; his granddaughter Amy Danielle Caldwell; and his son-in-law Johnny Dale Caldwell.
He is survived by: his wife Ruth Riley of Dawson Springs, KY; and his children, Phyllis Caldwell of Avon, IN, Pamela Sue Henderson (Loren) of Hartford, KY, Michael Dudley Riley (Jan) of Pittsboro, IN and David Wayne Riley of Speedway, IN. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild.
