He was predeceased by: his parents, William Riley and Maude Mae Allen (Parker); the mother of his children Maxine Matheny Allen; his son Stephen Shawn Allen (Cornelia Hopper); and his siblings, Clara Burris, Novella Watson, Nelson Allen and William.
He is survived by: his wife Frances Miller Allen; his daughters, Debra Allen of Madisonville and Cindy Todd (Mike) of Dawson Springs; his daughter-in-law Judy Allen of Spring Hill, TN; his stepsons, Scott Miller (Jenifer) of Madisonville and Steve Miller (Jill) of Owensboro; his grandchildren, Kim McGregor, Shawn Allen, Chris Hunt (Crystal) of Georgetown, Chad Hunt (Marisa) of Paducah, Tyler Todd (Nicole Shor) of Hardinsburg and Sarah Todd of Dawson Springs; and his stepgrandchildren, Mallory Lockwood (Preston), Benjamin McCullough (Rachel), Saxon McCullough (Brian Oney) of Bowling Green, Alexa Miller of Campbellsville, David Miller (Natalie Dant) and Kaitlyn Miller. He is also survived by numerous great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Bandy Funeral Home (18 N Main St, Nortonville, KY 42442). A funeral service was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
