It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Cedric Ray Gamblin of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, born in Madisonville, Kentucky, who passed away on March 21, 2024, at the age of 13, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his sister Carleigh Hope Gamblin; his grandparents, Janice Darlene Chandler Franklin, Edward Wayne Gamblin II, Mark Franklin, Alvin and Judy Thatcher; and his great-grandparents, Elmer Lee Alexander, Georgia Thomas, Hollis Chandler, Edward Wayne Gamblin, Annetta Gamblin and Leo Franklin.

He is survived by: his parents, Megan Thatcher Gamblin of Cadiz, KY and Mitchell Gamblin of Dawson Springs; his siblings, Maverick Buijk and Paisley; his stepsisters, Samantha and Olivia Buijk; his great-grandparents, Barbara Alexander of Madisonville, KY and Evelyn Franklin of Madisonville; his aunts and uncles, Christina Thatcher, Greg Thatcher, Bradlee Gamblin and Kaylee Stone; and his pets, Puss, Nala and Goose.
