He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Baxter Honeycutt and Bertha Adelaine Stinnet Honeycutt; and his wife Linda Lee Cothran Honeycutt. He is survived by: his children, Carla L. Hill (Randy) of Eddyville, KY and Carl Honeycutt, Jr. (Christi) of Henderson, KY. He is also survived by nine grandchildren; four great grandchildren; six sisters; and three brothers.
