She was predeceased by: her parents, Johnny Sowell and Mary Sowell; her husband Roy Douglas Mattingly; and her brothers, Johnny, James and Kenny Sowell.

She is survived by: her children, Holly Cotton (James Duke), Jason Mattingly and Timothy Edward Mattingly; and her grandchildren, Sydney, Maddox Cotton, Dylan and Saylor Mattingly.
