He was predeceased by: his parents, William Carter and Aline Knight Oliver Riley; his wife Shanna Fay Goodaker Oliver; his daughter Kimberly Michelle Oliver; his siblings, Bet McGoldrick, Mildred Dunn and John Amos Oliver; and his grandson Avery Warfield.
He is survived by: his children, Lucretia Oliver Faughn (Richard) of Caldwell County, Wendy Oliver Hooks of Caldwell County and Kerry Oliver (Tina) of Caldwell County; his sisters, Lois Rundle of Indianapolis, IN and Robbie Wilson of Fairdealing; his grandchildren, Devan Oliver (Jessica), MaKayla Bearden (Steven), Tember Oliver, Jonathan Chewning (Lindsey), Douglas Faughn, Dustin Faughn, Brandon Warfield and Cameron Warfield; his great grandchildren, Madeline Chewning, Miles Chewning, Breighlynn Rhae and Bearden; and his sister-in-law Shella Goodaker McGregor.
