With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Andrew Steven Hickerson of Dawson Springs, Kentucky, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on November 17, 2024 at the age of 74. He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold Hickerson and Wanna Elaine Lisanby Thomas; his wife Kathy Joe Hickerson; his stepfather Hoyt Thomas; his son Jason Hickerson; his great grandchildren, Paisley Abbott and Sage Dismang; and his brother Richard Hickerson.
He is survived by: his daughters, Carol Elaine Dismang of Dawson Springs, KY and Emily Jo Abbott (Kevin Lewis) of Dawson Springs, KY; his grandchildren, Steven Bearden, Nathan Bearden, Isiah Abbott, Christian Abbott, Charles Abbott, Emily Elizabeth Barnes, Seth Dismang, Alyssa Shaw and Colton Dismang; and his great grandchildren, Greyson Cline, Sophia Bearden, Willow Abbott, Winnley Abbott, Breighlynn Bearden, Larkin Bearden and Adalynn Shaw.
