She was predeceased by: her parents, Jay Shepherd and Kitty Shepherd; and her siblings, Arlen Shepherd, Laymon Shepherd, Beacher Shepherd, Deford Shepherd, Shirley Kilgore and Easter Stanley.
She is survived by: her son Jay; her daughter-in-law Sandy Whitaker; her grandchildren, Josh Whitaker and Samantha Johnson (Derreck); and her siblings, John Henry Shepherd (Naomi) of Findley, David Shepherd (Emma) of David, Kentucky, Myrtle Pitts of David, Christine Stillwell of Martinsburg, Delores Baldridge of Blue River, Barbara Shepherd (Ed) of Caney and Host. She is also survived by Nieces, Nephews.
