She was predeceased by: her parents, Julian Ray Newton and Betty Smith Newton; and her sisters, Linda Newton and Beverly Hoban. She is survived by: her husband David R. Abbott; her sons, Troy Abbott (Christine) and Joseph R Abbott; and her siblings, Charles Newton, Julian Ray Newton Jr., Francis Smith, Woodrow Benson, Betty Lou Davis (Barbara Ann Slacker), Judy Goodard, Martha Bedwell, Brenda Anderson, Hopkinsville, Candy Glover (Larry), Mary Powell (Bernice) and Margaret Tucker (Roger). She is also survived by 6 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild.
