He was predeceased by: his parents, Harlan Franklin and Verna Ollie Lewis Warren; his son James Edward Warren; his grandson Robert Dale Wylie, Jr.; and his siblings, Lorraine Thompson, Gerald Warren and Edward Warren.

He is survived by: his children, Elizabeth Ann Traugott (Tony) of Burgin and William Clinton Warren, Jr. of Harrodsburg; his grandchildren, Tracy Warren, Jamie Warren, Virginia Wylie and Delilah Traugott (Steven Stone); and his great grandchildren, Marcus Warren, Chandler Warren, Anastasia Bustin and Bryce Bustin.

Memorial donations are suggested to Danville-Boyle Co Humane Society.
