He was predeceased by: his sister Mildred Whitaker. He is survived by: his wife Lucille Adams; his sons, William Earl Adams, Jr. (Madge) of Scottsdale, Arizona and Larry Scott Adams (Joanne) of Clarksville; and his brother Keith Adams of Cincinnati, Ohio.. He is also survived by Five grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
